Since the Promise of the Father was published in August of 2012, I have made a concerted effort to pray in the Spirit for one hour per day. At first, this was a difficult discipline to establish, but the more I did so, the more natural it became. In fact, I was surprised to find myself praying in the Spirit spontaneously throughout the day, in addition to my dedicated hour of prayer. I have tried praying for a half hour in the
morning and a half hour in the evening, but setting my alarm for 6:00 am and praying till 7:00 am seems to work best for me. I have missed some days, but they have been few. What a privilege it is to know that when I don't know what to pray, the Holy Spirit prays the perfect will of Yahweh through me. As I have stated previously, I believe that the main reason the Lord called me to write this book was to raise up an army of prayer warriors who will pray in the Spirit for one hour per day, and that as we respond, ancient strongholds will be pulled down. If you feel called to join this army, please leave a comment and or sign up for this blog.
