Shabbat (the Sabbath)
Pesach/Hag HaMatsot (Passover/Unlevened Bread)
HaBikkurim (First Fruits)
Yom T’ruah (Day of Trumpets)
Yom Kippur (Day of Atonement)
To help make my point let me add to this list, Hag Chanukah, the feast of Dedication which is also known as the Festival of Lights. Though not one of the Levitical Feasts, Chanukah is a holiday that Y'shua celebrated.
The Moedim were instituted by Yahveh about 1400 years before the incarnation of Messiah, and Chanukah was instituted by the Maccabees about 160 years before Messiah came. In the posts that follow, I will demonstrate that based on calculations from Scripture, the timing of eight events in the ministry of Messiah form an incredible string of coincidences that should lead us to conclude that Yahveh
is trying to tell us something.
